I live by this one quote:  If you're not where you want to be then you're not working hard enough!

My ultimate goal is to play basketball on the professional level.

Why do I play basketball?

My parents have allowed me to indulge in many sports in my younger years. But, basketball topped all as my favorite. I began playing in the 4th grade. However, in the spring of my 5th grade season, I unexpectedly had to grieve the loss of my Aunt Laurie, a strong influence and role model. This devastating loss took basketball to a whole new level for me, and it helped me to heal from the hurt. I've been playing year round ever since.  As a result, I embrace challenging situations on the court and practice tirelessly to strengthen my game.

What basketball has done for me:

This awesome sport has opened the door to many opportunities.  I have been fortunate enough to play on my high school Varsity basketball team both freshman and sophomore years. My AAU program, DTX Basketball, an Adidas Gauntlet Silver team, has given me the opportunities to attend NCAA certified Live Event tournaments in California July 2017, April and July of 2018 and Pittsburgh in April 2019.  My AAU coach, Dave Taylor, Director of Basketball and Head Coach for the DTX Basketball Program in Trumbull, CT, has also inspired me to not only improve on the court, but also to strengthen my life skills off the court. He is the reason why I continue to work hard and excel academically, physically and mentally!
